Chapter 3
The Galaxy

i soon fell out of my sleep and i heard mara and Drop talking, I kept my eyes closed. i wasn't allowed to listen to their conversations, but i did anyways, they told me that it was about grownup stuff, but i didn't care, and most of the time they cused. but this conversation was differnet.
"Drop, are you sure....This, This...."
"Galaxy. Mara, its Galaxy, i know shell be able to help us." I heard Drop sigh.
"You said that shes old, how old is she Drop?"
"Shes in her 500th year now Mara."
"She seems entresting Drop, tell me more about her." mara said. i heard Drop sigh. "My father told me all about her that he knew, before......" i heard Drop cough, then he started."

"Galaxy was born with the power, a very rare thing inded, She was kind and loveing, but she had another power, it was to see certain parts of the Galaxy, She didn't tell anyone until her 200th year, she had been able to figure out that she could, if she tried hard enough, she could show you parts of the Galaxy. But people found out and wanted to see this, they wanted to know if she was real, Galaxy fled, for she knew if they were able to catch her, she would be a prisoner for her whole life, she never wanted that to ever happen. So she dissapered forever, it was like she wasn't ever born. My father told me that Her hair has most of the colors in space in it, her fur has yellow spots on it that glow in the dark and look like little stars in the night......" I heard Mara crie for something for the first time in my life. my eyes opened and I relized that I was crying too. I felt for this Galaxy. But i felt like i was connected to her. We were both born with the power to see into past and the future.
i then heard a voice in the back of my head, It was sweet and innocent, it was sounded like singing, but it was talking.It was saying. "If you listin to me, I'll lead you to me..."I stunned so looked at Drop and said. "Drop? But what this Galaxy sound like?" he looked at me but smiled. "my father said that her voice was sweet, and sounded like an innocent little girl, He also said that when she talked she sound like she was singing." My mouth droped open, i couldn't help myself, buut when the voice came back, I started to sing with it, "if you listin to me, I'll lead you to me." I  was stunned, so was Mara and Drop.
"Drop! Its Galaxy! She wants us to listen so that we can find her!"
"Mara, put Tamat down."
I heard the Voice in my mind again, I was singing with it, but i noticed that Galaxy was talking through me not Mara or Drop, Me! I felt so special that i smiling really big. "Follow the child, If you wanna find Me, For the Child will lead you, Strait to me." I noticed myself get up, i wasn't doing this, It was Galaxy, she was making me move. I heard Drop and Mara start to walk behind me.
I was so excited to be able to met Galaxy. But then i started to wounder about her past, and how people found out about her. Then I heard her voice, she was just talking to me, not through me. "I know what your thinking child." I heard her sigh, "I had a very good life before my sister, Milky Way, got jealous of me and told some of her friends, her friends told their friends and so on. But then my sister knew that she hadmade a huge big mess. She finnally told me and said that she was sorry, she told me that she was jealousand told me that I had to escape. I was shocked, the sister that i had played dolls with, the sister that i had told all my secrets to, the sister that was beutiful, and i really mean it, she WAS beutiful, the prettiest girl i had ever seen. She had all the looks, all the males, and all I had, was, myself. I couldn't belive that she was jealous of me!" I heard Galaxy chuckle to herself. "But i knew i had to get away from my sister, from everyone that i loved and cheerished, everyone that i had ever known. i had given my sister a hug and i ran for it, i ran without looking back, for i knew if i looked back, i wouldn't be able to move. And for all these years, i have been in hiding. i haven't seen my sister in more than 300 years. But i know that she is still alive, for I have talked to her in her mind." then i heard Galaxy start to cry. It made me start to cry. "Please don't cry." I told trough my mind. "Im sorry child. But, its just that i haven't talked to anyone in a long time, and i haven't ever told anyone my story either." I wanted to give her a hug. And tell her that it was alright, like my mother had done for me many times. "Your almost to me, just keep following the child, and then you'll find me." Galaxy said through me to Mara and Drop. Drop jumped but he kept on walking. "Remmeber to show some respect for the women Tamat." I heard Mara say to me calmly. I nodded and smiled, i looked up at the sky. I started to think about the stars, and about if their was other life out there, I felt like there was. "Is there life out here Galaxy?" I said in my thoughts, I heard her laugh. "Of course my child! Earth can't be the only planet with life on it, now can it? Of course we don't know of what kind of life there is out there, but there has to be other life than us in this whole galaxy, am i right?" I could hear from her voice that she was smiling. "Galaxy....." I stoped, i didn't want to seem rude, but i wanted to know i was so curious.
"Yes?"
"How old are you? Im sorry if its offensive, but, im just so curious..." I said, then i swallowed, i hoped that she wouldn't get mad and break from my mind. then she laughed. I sighed, then smiled. "Im exactly 607 years old. I turned 607 today." Then i had another thought on my mind, but i noticed that there was a logcoming up and i wimpered. "let me handle it child." I heard her say, and i noticed that i was running and that i was running faster than a normal pup.i heard Mara and drop racing behind me, than i noticed that i had jumped, about as high as a full grown German Shepard. My body stopped and i saw Mara and Drop follow behind, their eyes were big in awe. I smiled at them then i turned around and kept walking.
"Um.... Galaxy, i have anouther question....."
"Yes Tamat?"
"i had a dream..."
"about what?"
"About...an....."
"go on."
"you have to promise not to laugh."
"I promise."
" I had a dream one time about an.. an alien thing...."
"What did it look like?"
I was suprised that she didn't laugh at me. I thought that was going to burst out laughing at me, but she had kept a promise and she seemed curious about my dream. So i smiled and went on.
"It wasn't an it, a she..... It seemed like she was glowing and-"
"Did she have blue hair?" i was suprised that she had cut me off, but it was even stranger that she had said what i was about to say. "Yes, she did. But, how did you know?" i said to her, i was still shocked and i looked at the stars again, mara and Drop were talking but i didn't care this time, i took at peek back and saw that Drop had Stuffie in his mouth and smiled, than i looked ahead again. "Because i had the same dream Tamat." I cocked my head at her. "i also got her name in my dream, she said it to me." I heard Galaxy sigh. "i never got that part, what is it?" She sighed again. "Her name, is Kiranzii, i think, Kira for short." than i heard a growl from Galaxy. than i whimpered but Galaxy talked through me again. "You have followed the child straight on to me, pass the three trees in front of you, and you'll find me....." than i heard her voice fade away. Than me, Mara and Drop all ran past the next two trees, than we walked slowly pated the third tree, than we saw a small clearing, the sun was just barly coming out, and the stars were fading away. But there she was. Right in the middle of the clearing. Than she looked at me. than her mouth moved, i knew the words imediantly.
"You found me."
